Bethany International House for children was launched in October 2009. It is a Christian based Charity Organisation, which has been established by Susan Benjamin.

Aim :- “To help as many children as possible become part of a safe and loving family environment, and to empower each child in Waterloo with adequate education in order to fulfil their purpose in life”

Our charity is working to rescue the orphaned and amputee victims of Waterloo village who’s situation is a result of the Rebel War. We are helping to provide accommodation and education to develop a new generation that will take responsibility for themselves and their community.

Our goal is to build accommodation and provide food, clothing and medical facilities which will entail:

• School
• Orphanage
• Clinic
• Church

• By donating and helping to raise funds, it will benefit the children in Waterloo (Sierra Leone).
• It will help with education and developing the children economical well-being.
• Children are our future, if we invest in them and show that we care, it will improve their life and knowledge is power which will enhance knowledge and understanding of the world.
• Children in the world are supposed to be achieving the five learning outcomes.
• Every Child Matters (ECM, 2004) Keeping Safe, Staying Healthy, Enjoying and achieving, achieving economic well-being and contributing to society and the world they live in.
